GTR2 behaves pretty much in line with our expectations. Neither card has the measure of the other cards here, so there's really no difference separating them, performance wise. But we expected that now. If you compare these results to the GeForce 8600GTS results, you can see the difference lies in 1600 x 1200 without AA and AF and 1280 x 1024 with AA and AF. These GeForce 8600GTs are already hitting frame rates below 30 fps on the early stages of the benchmark - during the start up of the race. It's actually better to forgo AA all together, you can have slightly faster frame rates, even at 1600 x 1200.
